highest u reached while burning out?

so wats the highest u seen the speedo go2 while doing a burnout?

i had a 90' daytona v6 3L, spedometer only went to 220km/h and wen i did burnouts i could get it to jus pin the 220 mark in a sec so i dunno how fast the wheels were actually spinning at cause it just jumped from like 60-80kmh to the end of the spedo (o ya those tires were killed pretty fast did quite a few burnouts lol)

A friend of mine did a burnout one night with me his truck with it raining (had to be raining, its a ford-f150 with a 4.2l v6), but anyway, when we got the tires to spinning he let off the brake and the speedo jumped from about 25-30 sittin still to like 75 when we started rolling, only moving about 5 mph.

probably only 50 MPH cause the **** limiter on the S55. it wont let u power brake past like 3500 rpms but that still gets the tires smokin. o and this was also while it was dry (go me!!)

I did'nt want to make another thread but what's the longest you all have done? I would have to say that longest I did was 90ft. And that was spinning 20" rims....

i watch my buddy do a burn out in his 66 chev with a built 350 and munice 4 speed. he power braked it a little and let the tires spin for 180 ft. we measured, he was roastin tire all the way into 3 gear. neighbors almost called the cops, fastest my speedo jumped was from 0- 50 in my s-10 with dunlop 10.5 wide tires, semi low profile handle nice when its dry but when its wet they like to spin

i dont have a speedo but my tach read 6500 and only cause i let off the throttle there sense the power range of my cam doesnt go much past that

My dad just set a new record on our hill......He has a mostly original 77 silverado with a 1997 LT-1 engine in it. He got on it without power breaking it and did 120 footer......

Up to 110, where it's governed... Without the governor, I'm sure it would've kept going right up to the limits of the gearing (around 140mph). As for the longest burnout... probably about five feet, because the tires I had on the Mustang were very sticky. I'm not counting in the rain, of course, because that would be... oh lord, probably over 300ft.

had a rear tire on my bike that was s hi t so we took the bike to the local honda dealership to get better tires. stuck the front tire up against the building and hit 149 in 6th gear before the tire gave out. real messy!!!

i love getting new tires for that same reason cause u can destroy ur old ones now ur expieracne some might say is taking it to the extreme but i love it!
