I've got an '09 Nissan Versa and I recently hooked up a sub and such to it.
I've got a cheap Lightning Audio Bolt with a S1 JBL 12". What I did was use t-taps off of the speaker output on the stock stereo harness to to the amp's high level input. I've got the taps tied together left and right, meaning I've got left positive with right positive, etc. I've drawn up a diagram because pictures are worth a thousand words right?
Anyways, based off of the diagram, could me tying the left and right channels together cause crackling on the door speakers, but not on the sub?
EDIT: Forgot to mention, I haven't had time to check if I mixed up the positive and negatives yet, but I'm about 80% sure I didn't. If I did, would that cause the crackle?
