Hifonics ZXi 6410 too cheap to be good?

will that give me at least 300watts rms since it says 500 watts?
or should i just get like Kicker 08ZX750.1 and pay the extra $$ for true power

i just need to know the good brand names to go with =/

I'd sure hope so...heard nothing but good reviews and it has 100 amps of fusing.

I have the amp but have never needed it to push much power

the 6410 is a great amp. I had one last season on my mids/highs and it does exactly what its rated at. Never hesitate to purchase a Hifonics amp.

if i were buying a hifonics amp i would go old school buy one off of ebay

I don't know if I would recommend that. Over a two year period, I purchased a good bit of old school amplifiers off of ebay and EVERY one of them had something wrong. I've seen everything from burnt resistors to completely butchered hack jobs.

so in general are mb quart amps good? i know kicker is a really known brand name and u will pay for that, but

its just crazy it puts out at least the same power of a Kicker 08ZX650.4 but it costs $180 where the kicker is $270.
