Hifonics Zeus zx 8000??

what is the scoop on hifonics in general, and the zeus series, and more particularly the zx 8000 5 channel amp.

4 x 50 watts + 1 x 200 @ 4ohms

or

2x 200 watts + 1 x 300 watts @ 4 ohms

I am going to be powering CDT EF 6.5" components (or CDT CL -61 6.5", havent pulled the trigger yet).

Would like an amp that would allow me the flexibility of adding a small sub a little later if I decide I cant' live without the extra bass.

By the way -- price = 210

They are alot better than most people are willing to give them credit for. One of the best "bang for your buck" amps available.

There was some problems with some of the Brutus amps that have since been fixed, but you know just like with anything once something goes wrong the first time, then everyone wants to cry JUNK.

i was kind of wondering the same thing, because i will probably be getting the z6400, but i was wondering how they compare to PG amps or jl?
