Hifonics? what is up with them

Are they good price for watts? Are they close to their rated rms? Are they the best bang for your buck? I'm just wondering i have two kicker L5 that would run at 1200 watts rms @ 2 ohms and wanna see if the Hifonics BXi2008D , 1300 watts @ 2ohms will give them enough power or is there another good bang for you buck amp

just get dual 4 L5s and get the 2008d and have some head room. no need to use all the amps power.

I have hifonics bxi1206d

suposed to give off 1200w at 1 ohm.

it is actually probly giving off closer to 1K watt tho. - runs cool all day long.

but still a good value as I paid $200 even for it.

$.20 per watt is good by me in an amp.

Yah, they're decent for beginners. I've seen them take abuse from people cranking bass boost and clipping them bad. A friend of mine had gains maxxed and bass boost at 25% and clipped his L7's for an hour straight before it finally crapped.

I dunno if that shows anything but the L7's ability to take abuse tho lol.

if your refering to the brutus amps, just be nice to them and they'll last(no .5 ohm w/ a weak electrical).
