Hifonics, overrated?

I bought a Hifonics Bxi1606d amplifier to power 2x Kicker CVX 12" subwoofers which take 750w RMS.

I chose the Hifonics Bxi1606d for two very important reasons besides the obvious stated power output, those reasons are the size and the price.

Now all that I am hearing is how the Hifonics amplifier is overrated so I am starting to lose confidence in this amplifier to push these CVX's like I wish.

they are very good, i have bought 2 and both still work everyday.. one is in my gfs car pushing 2 dd 510's at 2ohm doing almost 140.. and the other i got for my brother was sold 2 his friend who still uses it on some subs, idk what his setup is tho.. i reccomend em.. i like em and thry look sleek with good power

Return it an get an Autotek Mean Machine 1400.1d. Its rated at 1400 rms tested at 1700 rms. Google it.

Pretty much it, there is a reason they are cheap, lol. But they are a quality budget amp.

Too big.
