Hifonics Olympus vs Fi BTL?

Well I did a quick search and didn't see anything on this topic. I'm in the market for 2 new subs. (This will be my first system.) I think I've narrowed down my decision to either:

(2) Hifonics 2400w Olumpus--or--(2) 15" Fi BTLs (loaded of course)

^^^^(I'm still open to suggestions)^^^^

I'm looking for lots of SPL & definitely loud. I don't have a whole lot of knowledge on car audio but I think it's rising everyday.

If I went with the Hifonics, I would get (2) Hifonics Brutus 2600w amps.

If I went with the Fis, I would get (2) Hifonics Brutus 2000w amps. (Or should I get 2600w?)

So, I geuss the question is, which do you guys think I should get?

As previously suggested, I am still open to suggestions. Just try to keep the price of amps & subs ~$2000.

Thanks in Advance,

Fi's subs are of better quality and do some research on youtube and watch some videos of Fi BTLs. Fi is used in some ridiculous setups. And btw do you have the electrical to run all of this?
Electrical? I believe so. I've already got Irragi to quote me on a 220amp alt for $439.

I'll also get the "Big 3" done along with (2) Kinetik HC 2000. That should get them beating right?

Now, back on the BTL's, I've seen probably every BTL video on YouTube & especially every Meade video. lol But something keeps telling me to keep the Hifonics in the decision.

I forgot to mention, all this will be going in a Land Rover Discovery II (if that effects any of you guys' decision)

Personally I wouldn't. I own an Fi and I love it. And Idk if that's quite enough power. I would think maybe 1 or 2 batts would help but I'm not the best person to talk to about it.

Wait, you think I should have 2 more Kinetik HC 2000's? That would be sorta overkill wouldn't it? I thought 1 or 2 would've been enough. (Stock under the hood & the Kinetik(s) in the back.)

Does anyone else have any input on this?

Like I said I'm not sure. But I'm planning to run 5k watts and I'm going to have 4-5 batts and a 250 amp alt.

i have 3k watts. 1 stock batt, one yellow top and 1 batcap 800. almost no voltage drop. i could do 4k on this setup i bet. so with the kinetik batts you will be in good shape. BUT you need to do all that before you can run those subs.

look up mechman alternators. much better than that irragi one. definatly get the FI BTL. its an amazing sub. the amps will be fine.
Well, I did actually. I think they wanted ~$500 for a 220-240amp alt. I called up about 4 or 5 different places. I'm either going to go with an Iraggi or an Excessive Amperage. The quotes I got from them were good priced IMO.

Ok, I think you guys might have the sold on the BTLs. Now, I do have a few questions:

1. I've heard that Fi underrates them a little bit, it this true? If so, should I run a more powerful amp?

2. Should I run 2 of the Kinetiks I listed or 1?

3. Would a 200amp alt get me buy, or should I go ahead and get the 220 or 240amp?

4. Also, this doesn't quite have to do with the subs themselves, how much do you guys think it would cost to have a custom audio place mod a dash to fit a double din unit? I'm trying to get a ballpark figure before going around getting quotes.
