If I am unable to get some of the amps I'm looking at purchasing...

I've been thinking of getting two BXi-2008Ds, maybe use a Maxxlink.

Does anybody have these? How long do they last? I know they are a tad bit over rated.

Do the new 2008Ds put out more power than last year?

I have two Mach 5 SPL-12s to run.

^^^^x2 i was running one for a little bit they dont get hot and they seem to be built very well and for the price its a good deal. the audioque 2200 d might be somthing u should look in to. it has a clipping light wich is pretty cool if u ask me. i do say for the money the Hifonics amp is a good amp

Unless I could somehow get two 2200Ds for a discount, then I won't be getting them. Plus AQ won't ship any other method than UPS, and it seems pretty costly to Canada, at least for there subs.

i dont know about there lasting power. there older stuff was the shit back in the day. I dont know about there new stuff the old saying u get what u pay for might come in to play i dont see it lasting for years but if u dont try to turn the gain up all the way and bump all the time all day u should be good for some time. .... just a guess

Mine has been used since 07 (2607 as you know), I don't know how hard the previous owner pushed it or if there were any before him, but I've had it for about 4 or 5 months, and I push it very hard, but only at 2 ohms. by pushing it hard I mean I've literally just beat on em for hours at a time, many many times, and I play it at full tilt easily 90% of the time...on top of this, my voltage dips into 11's occasionally, amp is still goin strong and showing no signs of givin out on me any time soon //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

well i mean that would probably depend on how you treat it. what does your electrical look like?
100% stock. I'm not in a rush to get it done, just have a budget.

I will be getting a 200+ amp alternator, and some extra batteries.
