the amp is rated at 80A, i have a stock battery and 100A alt..would my electrical system suffice?

eh id get a new batt, do big 3 then you should be decent... i had 130 amp alt, new battery and ran this at 1 ohm for a little and my shit dipped a lot. be better to get a bigger alt.

you'll never know until you try it.

We've all known people running 500w on a 100A alt and have a struggling elec system, but then there are people running 1200w on 70A alts with no signs of trouble.

Based on my personal experience - I would think the 1205D (~1000w) should run ok with a 100A alt assuming it's installed right and you don't blast test tones continuously.
