hifonics brutus warm at 1ohm?

will my hifonics brutus get warm at 1ohm? should i think about investing in a fan for it?

warm...dont worry about it. if it gets hot then i would one. amps are supposed to get a little warm.

My 1000d is running 1 ohm, and I'm actually suprised at how cool it stays. A little warmth is to be expected. Worry when it goes into protect.

It should get warm. Amps make heat, thats what they do //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif It will only turn about 75% or so of the current it draws into power, the rest will basically turn into heat which *should* get convected to the heatsinks and then disapated into the air. At full tilt that means a good amount of heat.

I drove around for about an hour with my Nemesis wired at 1 ohm (same heatsink design) blasted and it was barely warm to the touch.
