Hifonics Brutus BRX-2400.1 good?

I've noticed that a lot of people on here have the Hifonics Brutus BRX-2400.1 amp. Is it really that good of an amp?.. I just bought 2 Soundqubed HDS315s. I was thinking about getting another amp. Would the Hifonics amp be a significant upgrade from my Kicker ZX1500.1 amp?
i dont think you would notice a huge difference IF ANY IMO. the kicker's are know to put out more then rated power(probly more like 1800rms or so) and the Hifonics amps are decent but dont usually do rated but get close(more like 2000-2100 from what ive seen from ppl testing them). So given the 200-300 watt difference you are more and likely not going to hear a difference.

Youre not. If you are looking for good cheap power look at Crescendo. The Kicker is a 2ohm amp also, the Hifo is 1.
I'm really content with it.. I was just knew that the Hifonics weren't that expensive and I saw so many, I thought they were really good or something.

Just a decent price. Definitely the best HiFonics has to offer.
i would take the brz over the brx. built alittle better also clamps more power. Hifonics makes some bigger better amps like the colossus amps are nice. They share boards with other big amps, for example the colossus 3200 shares the same board as the crescendo 3500

So from my two brx 2400s, that i got for 180 dollars and one for 200 used. For the price i got it for, they are great workhorse amps and pretty durable, they arent actually that big of current hogs like the older brutus models, probably why it makes a little less power then the BRZ. They are stable when wired half ohm daily, only tried it on one for a few months. All in all, good amps if you can get them for under 220 shipped, not really worth the 300 dollars(after tax and ship) new. For 300, You can get a soundqubed 2200 used, a much better amp efficiency wise and output wise from a direct swap between an AQ2200 and a brx 2400 comparison, The AQ(former soundqubed) pushed my subs a lot harder and sounded a lot cleaner and fuller.

Yeah I'm still waiting on my box to get here.. I'm going to get the big 3 done sometime this weekend or next week and 0 gauge ran to my amp.. I see what yall were saying about that stiffness too
What amp are you going to run on them? The Kicker? Yeah, they're pretty stiff.
