I've used plenty of maxxsonics stuff and never had any problems with any of it. Usually when people have trouble they are doing something wrong but fail to admit wrong doing. It's easier to blame the company than to take responsibility for your own inadequacies. A lot of people still fail to grasp the concept that you dont "bridge" maxxsonics mono amps. They have two sets for ease of installing subwoofers.

They are not over rated and maxxsonics is CEA certified.

It's a good amp, just make sure you have the electrical to back it. Just about the best you're going to get for the money...besides maybe some audiopipe stuff.

Switch to a different amp that puts out the same rated power as your Hifonics. I guarantee you will hear and feel a difference.

I have a BXI1610D and I don't have any complaints, it doesnt even get remotely warm pushing 1000w @2ohm, haven't had any problems with it yet and don't expect any either.

I have a few friends that have Hifonics amps also and they haven't had any trouble.

I sold a brutus on here.. the're not to bad really but I'd definetly look into some other options first.

I wouldn't have a problem running Hifonics again, they are very stout amps. That said, I would only run one if I was using it to power a sub that was rated significantly under the power the Hifonics is rated for.

my 2000d was nice it draws alot of power. you would be better of saving and geting a audioque2200d or something eles. that goes for everyone.
