Hifonics 1606D or 2006D

hey guys noob question...sorry...i have a Alpine 1522D TYPE R 15", im gonna wire it to 1 ohm, what would be the better amp to push that sub, or would i even hear a difference? or is the 2006 to powerful for that sub?...thx

assuming you have the good electrical system to run that high wattage of an amp, i would say 1606d is plenty for a single 15" R.
