I'm looking for a nice 2 channel to run at 4 ohm bridged 1000 RMS. I am looking at the Hifonics ZXI series. I'm debating between the ZXI-1006, ZXI-1010.

The 1010 has 80 amps of fusing. I called Hifonics and they said it is more efficient than the 1006 that has 120 amps of fusing. 40 amps seems like a big jump for a more efficient and I have been reading that the new Hifonics are slighty overrated. I just believe 120 amps of fusing would give me a better 1000 rms then 80 amps of fusing for a similar amp. Maybe there is more to it than that? Which amp would produce more power?
