this is the question I have 2 dc xl subwoofers and im looking to buy a hifionics collusses, and run it at 2 ohms which is what they are rated at. Then can I run like a master slave and strap another 1 there so there both seeing a 2 ohm load or is that impossible.

If your final load is 2 ohm and you strap two amps to that load, each amp will see 1 ohm.

For each amp to see a final of 2 ohm you would need to have a 4 ohm setup to master/slave the amps.

well i used to run a 2011 kicker zx2500.1 would this hifionics amp be louder?

Louder is subjective. They both have similar power and to the ear I don't think there would be a large difference if the amps were swapped out in the same system.
