HID 6000k vs 8000k

Not interested in 8k anymore so

 

4300k or 6000k

 

leaning towards 6k

Which should i choose?

vehicle: 2004 honda accord

Not looking for anything bright bright blue those in a way seem "cheap" to me

It's hard to tell from youtube videos or pictures if there's a huge difference between the two so Anyone who has experience with HID's want to give some input.

there isnt a huge difference between the two.

I would get the 6k. You'll have better visibility compared to the 8k's

For what you want, go with 6000k. More pure white, and will give more light then the 8000k

will the 6k have more noticeable blue tint to it than the diamond white 4300k?

because that's what i'm looking for a hint of blue but not blue blue

if that makes sense

where i'm ordering them from the only options are 4300k-6000k-8000k-10000k

8000k with a 55 watt balast ftw

50w balast is 55$ more i dont think i'll need the extra light to blind people haha.

i have 5k. if i ever decide to upgrade it would be to a 55w 6k.

the 6k has a very light blue tint to it but not enough to reduce the light visibility.

the 8k will have more of a blue hue and less output than the 6k

I have the 8k in my civic and its got just a blueish tint. I love them and they are super bright. I sell them and install them, there is not a ton of difference from the 6k to the 8k. I think I wouldnt go with a 4300 if you want that blueish tint.

My girlfriend has the 6000k in her 2006 accord. I'll take a pic tonight so you can see them.

It has more of a purple hue than the factory acura TL/TSX.

you sure they are 6k?

6ks shouldn't have any purp in them. 6k is just starting to get into the shade of blue.
