Hiccups...

Does anyone know a good way to get rid of them?

I've had them for the last 2 hours and I'm going to cry....

ok i think this is it, you might need a partner:

-drink from a cup while tilting your head down a bit (kinda tough)

-right when you swallow, have someone else tug outward on your ears

its worked for me i dont know how but it does

ive heard of lighting a match and dropping it in a small glass of water, then drinking the water...

Without stupid crazy cures, the ONLY thing that consistently works for me is to get a large cup of water and chug it, but instead of huge gulps, do many continuous small gulps to make the cup last as long as possible. The key is to not let the hiccup happen once or twice by continually having water going down your throat, which physically closes the windpipe, they will go away.

That is what I do.

basically the same method as mine, but I've found even by holding your breath, they still force themselves out, atleast for me. By drinking water while holding your breath, hiccups cant physically come out. Things work better for different people though.

peanut butter.. one decent size teaspoon full.. has worked every time for me and most of my friends.. only seen it fail once..

and that kid died of the hiccups the next morning.
