Hello I've been checking out this forum for a while now and I was hoping on getting some advice on the system for my car, I want to start with a new hu but only have about $120 to spend, I know tight budget. I think an entry level unit from jvc will meet my needs what do you think?

don't know much about hu yet, but yeah mp3, front aux, prefrebly front usb, and most important is sound quality with lots of power to back it up, and a ease of user interface and controls, my first choice was a cheap Clarion but then I went to play with one at and it felt mediocre, I know Kenwood has the most power per dollar but I want something different so thats why I thinking about a jvc since it hat a built in amp.

honestly just go with a sony with that price range. they have decent ones with the front aux and mp3 playback. where in cali are you?

i think in that price range you're safe with a JVC, while they are not the greatest, they are very good bang for the buck. I don't know much about JVC though, see if you can search to see who has had one and see what they say
