Hello all and greetings from sunny Akron,

I found this site a couple days ago and am very impressed thus far. I have been into stereos about 20 years now. I turned 16 and got my first car, My dad and I put in a Pioneer tape deck, then speakers and it snowballed form there.

I recently acquired an 87 Grand National and am planning an install for it. I'd like some ideas on the install and will post the specifics of the system components in the appropriate area. I had an 88 Camaro prior to this car and kept most of the old stereo equipment that was in it.

I look forward to your help and hopefully I can offer some insight as well.

well i'm from ohio as well and i also own a g-body in the form of an 81 cutlass. almost identical body and framework, all the same rear trim pieces also. Hell, i even have the 3.8 liter that your motor is based off of ...without all the extras of course. So if you need any help, i can try.
