Ok im going to be getting some 6.5 inch MB Premium's and i want a nice amp to power them. I dont know that much about 2 and 4 channel amps. so what would be a higher end amp? i need 100 watts RMS @ 4 ohm. I need one 4 channel and one 2 channel amp. price range is up to $400 on the 4 channel....idk about the 2 channel. Thanks, andrew

My first question is why you need 6 channels of amplification for your frontstage? Are you going active?

i have a tahoe and it can home (6) 6.5 inch speakers perfect so i know im gonna need all them to over come the bass. so i will amp 4 of the with the 4 channel and 2 of them with the two channel.

Just for clarification, High End 4x100w @ 4ohm 4-channel amps cannot be had for $400.00. Anything in that price range that is actually High End will definitely be used. That aside, there are quite a few "lower-mid-fi" amplifiers in that price range. By the description of your intended system, you will more than likely be VERY happy with that intermediate class of amplifiers. No insult was meant above if it was possibly taken that way. High End is just in a way higher price catagory for that level of power output and likely will not be noticeable over the mid-fi amps when playing both at rated output on a sextuplet of 6.5's trying to keep up with a large subwoofer system.

look at the massive audio pro series a/b amps i just got them in and let me say the are very inexpensive and sound wise will compete with much higher end products than their price suggests. the p800.4 i have now in the wifes car has the cdt es-07 set jammin and i mean the mids are loving the power and its a really clean amp put the rockford we had in their prior to shame...

There are a TON of options in your price range.

RF Power series (the T4004 is only rated at 25w x 4, but averages a true power output of 90w x 4 @ 4ohm)

Kicker ZX650.4

Phoenix Gold Xenon series

Infinity has a 4-channel CEA-2006 rated at 111w x 4

Really, just search through most of the major manufacturer's. Most of them will offer what you are looking for. Way too many to list.
