whats up everyone? Well ive always been into car audio just not hardcore but i am starting to lean that way haha.. Ive had a pioneer 8300 as my deck some polk momo 6.5 comps running off a alpine pdx 2.150 for the past 4 years and its really getting old.... so i ripped everything out and im starting new. Been reading alot about deadening so i just bought 80 sq ft of raamat and 6 yards of ensolite to start off the front doors and will continue with the whole car. Anybody have any suggestions on comps? or nething for that matter

haha i have heard there jlw6 and jlw7 subs and was impressed and also heard good things about there amps. Are there comps any good?

JL is mid range. if you want good comps check out MB quart, Hertz, Diamond audio, Rainbow, Focal. Just make sure you do your research if your gonna drop 5-800.00 on comps bu tif you go high end with any of the above then you will be gooood

Ya its all personal preference... never pay retail for them, but ive used them for over 15 years and have had great experiences. Lots of other good brands, alot of people on here done like them, so i like to joke around lol. And ya comps are great, but the good ones are pricey. best advice is always do your own research on here and abroad. other good brands youll see alot on here: sundown audio, AudioQue, Image Dynamics, audio pipe, etc.

yeh im prob gonna drop around 300 to 500 on comps and i have done some research. I have heard alot about the hertz mlk and the hybrids. My main goal here is to have something that sounds loud and clear prob like everyone else is looking for. I thought my polk momos were pretty good but nothing amazing haha but then again i didnt have the doors or nething deadened.
