thanks, its just it was at 12.93 then i checked it last night when i got home and it was lower. im sure it will keep goin lower but it would save me a head ache if i could just leave it and wire it up when im ready. im still waitin on my subs/amp and some wire to get things done. thanks guys luv yaBatteries can sit in Auto Parts stores for months at a time, don't worry about weeks.
low on cash bro, work is not payin enough . thanksbuy a trickle charger (battery tender), takes care of your continuous worrying.
i wish i had ocd, im just makin sure all is good. thanks my luvsbut not the ocd....
sounds about right my luv.Lead acid batts are pretty tough. I assume we are talking about a car battery of some sort. Sitting for 3 weeks with no load is nothing. You may see a little self discharge but nothing major. If you do see some big voltage drops then the batt is bad. The only thing you really want to avoid is deep discharge unless you have a battery designed for it, that would be the biggest threat to your batts life. I use a battery on my bench for testing and make sure to keep charging it up before it gets too low, it has sat much longer than 3 weeks so no worries. Ocd, i has it.
