Finally joined the forum, always looking at it as a guest but with some friends I joined up. I'm here to look into building a new sub box for my 2002 impala. I've gone through just a few systems in this car and this one that I want to do will be big. My prior installations were:

(2) Memphis PR Series 12" Subs in a Sealed Box on a Memphis PR 500w Amp

(2) Memphis M1 Series 12" Subs in a Ported Box on a Memphis PR 1000w Amp

(1) Memphis Mojo 12" Sub in a Ported Box on a Elevation Audio 2000w Amp

(2) Memphis Mojo 15" Subs in a Ported Box on a Memphis 4000w Mojo Amp

*(2) Rockford Fosgate T2 12" Subs in a Ported Box on a Rockford Fosgate 2500w Constant Power Amp*Current Setup**Which is also for sale!*

Now trying to figure out possibly doing (2) Memphis CM15Q1 Quad Ohm 15's and (2) Memphis 2500 watt Mojo Series Amplifiers! Trying to figure out a box and port configuration for this setup... going to be interesting for sure!

I hope to learn more and gain some experience and friends here on the forum!

how did you fit 15s in the trunk..i have a impala had to build the box inside the trunk

The box was 36" deep if I remember properly, and well... it just fit. By just, i mean we had to bend some of the metal back that meet the trunk lid... we got it it haha. I feel my build for this box will need to be built inside the trunk, but i feel like there will be an issue with screwing in the sides and top. Memphis subs are great falcons! Love them, and with the Rockford system, I just miss them haha. Plenty of money spent, kinda wish I just went from the first to the current without the spending in-between... oh well I enjoyed every single one. Here is a pic of the 15's in my impala though. If you notice the white crap around where the trunk sits, thats what sealed it after cutting it haha.

how many cubic feet is that box? cause in my ford escort zx2 all i can fit is a 4.0 cf box with a slot port for one fifteen. would love to upgrade to 2 if i could but it doesnt seem possible //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I know it was 17" high, and 36" deep... not sure on the width

yeah mine was like 6.2 cu ft total subs up port back but...i just made the box a lil longer and not so tall and it went right in..it was louder this way too.
