Ok I got a new car and I am getting ready to add new speakers.

I am set on hertz hsk165 or 163

on eather set they are going to get around 100 WATTS each ch

the 2 ways are cheaper and bolt in

the 3way I have to make something for the 3in

how much differance in sound is there is it worth all of the hassel to go 3way

I would stick with 2 way. Its easier to setup and in your case, a lot less hassle since you can bolt it in (no fabrication). Try the 2 way and see how you like it. I have heard 3-ways that sound great but its a LOT more work to get things right. More amps, more wiring, more crossover frequencies to mess with, etc. Keep it simple.

I'd have to say no to that kevin but I guess each person has a different pair of ears for a reason //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. To answer the OP, it really depends on you man... It you feel like you can properly set up the 3 way set, it will yield spectacular results.. At the same time, if you don't, it will sound exponentially worse.
