how do you know if you have a hernia? i did some heavy lifting yesterday and im having a lot of pain above my crotch. not sore muscle pain either...

Im serious I had a hernia and went without getting it fixed and had to have surgery. doctor was pissed when he seen my stuff that i waited to long. You have to go see the dr. Its a simple surgery couple day recovery and an out patient surgery

if you have a lump, most likely a hernia. If there's discoloration, you need to go to the doctor

Wear compression shorts for the next few days and see if that helps, if it's a full blown hernia you will feel it all the way up in your gut and it will take your breath away.

I had one once bro... ******! I got mine same way. I did bench, felt sharp pain in pubical area and about two weeks later had a small protrusion in said area. It was very slight, sore like. I let mine go, while I worked out for many years. Stupid! When I finally had it fixed, I had to take a week off work cause it was so bad... If you have a small bump poking out in the pube area, get checked and fixed ASAP. Less recovery and easier... My **** looked ******* huge with it!! Lol chicks would deff notice! Lol

yup i had a double hernia when i was 12, that was by far the worst pains in life. Luckily for me it was early in life and as you get older there worse. If you have a lump i would get it checked out fast, even slight pain could be a tear and it isnt buldging yet. Take it easy man your gettting old lol
