Alpine DVA-5202 in-dash DVD

Has anyone heard of those things?

I know someone local that might give it to me for a trade or like 100 bucks?

is it worth it?

it's gotta be old alpine doesn't have a manual for it on their site?

You for sure should ask if there's a way you can try it out installed in a vehicle before you buy. Here's a link to some info on it:

It doesn't have a tv tuner & only 1 set of rcas. If everything wors properly on it & the guy has all the wiring it might be worth it, all depends on how bad you want a dvd player.

Well here's the deal I am running an eclipse HU and even when i get a new one i plan on the better eclipse. So I don't know that I have very many option with this thing. But if it's decent, and i can get it for like 50-75 bucks. it might be worth reselling or something....

Argh...its just so fishy, prob not worth it...

Well i looked at the link, so it plays cds blah blah blah. as though it would act as a HU in itself...not necessarily connect to a alpine HU or somethin...

what the heck is this thing good for?

i wonder if the rca out are for sub/rear or for video, cause it doesn't have a motor screen, its just a dvd.

can anyone else enlighten me?
