I've been reading on here for days about different 10 inch subs and trying to decide what I want. I know I could just throw two Type R's in it and call it a day but I want something different.

Made of formed ABS and MDF... its far stronger than the usual cheap plastic ones you find. I can fit mounting depths up to 7" as long as the magnet isn't super wide.

My amp is a PG 15.0:1 which they claim does 1000rms @ 2 ohms .

So I'm looking for two 10"s and looking to spend around $150 each

JL 10W6V2's are a little too pricey for me and I *think* Treo's and Resonant Engineerings are too.

Feel free to post any other suggestions. Thanks

Sorry, that's the model name for the D6's with dual 4 ohm coils... I should have just put D6.

I could have got all MDF but they end up having a lot less volume for under the rear seats. Guys who have this one say the way the formed ABS fits tight to the steel in there that it doesn't flex at all.

I have the same box. As soon as I kill these Kenwoods I am gonna go with some JLs or Diamonds. Its actually a really nice box considering the space it fits in. I had one of the shotty ebay MDF boxes before and this box is waaaaaaaaaaaay better.

Your going 12.80s with that Ram?

12.89 in my RCSB 2x4 Ram, it has the 6.1 cam, Pacesetter longtubes and y pipe, Flashpaq, CAI and a 75 shot of nitrous. And that was on 22" wheels, I'm going to get some lighter wheels and bump it up to a 150 shot to try to knock down some low 12s //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

The box is for the 2500 QC Cummins, it might crack a low 14 or high 13 with the Bullydog maxed out but it's mainly a tow rig.

I'm still having trouble deciding... And to make things worse the guy who builds the boxes keeps telling me to throw Alpine Type R's in. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

That would be ok though because TC's don't need that much volume sealed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Just that the 2 materials will resonate at different frequencies is all but probably not a huge issue for you. The other is that it is pre-tuned to 35 htz? But for what subs?

Alpine Type R's huh figures though...

When I suggested 1000's I did not realize the box was ported...Not many subs will work well ported in such a small box, thats only .9cuft before displacement for each sub. If you sealed up one side you might have ALOT more options. TC's are known for their ability to work in small boxes but here is what they recommend for a TC 1000 10" Ported 1.2 ft3 31Hz
