ok i just ordered a pioneer 5900iB (limited funds) im upgrading from a pioneer premier 390MP. is this a decent upgrade? now ive ordered my new HU, and my CDT comp set. all i got to do now is get my comp amp --- substage in about a month. also ordered 3ft of extra 4ga ground wire so i can properly mount my amp. i need to get a distroblock, can i get one that goes from 2ga and splits to two more 2ga? or only 2ga to two 4ga. would 4ga be fine using 1000+ watts on my sub and amp

I would think so. I have heard some good things about that deck. Should be a nice one.

My dad just put one in their new 07 Trailblazer with an Ipod. I t sounds pretty good just not a-lot of features other than a 7 band graphic EQ & 4 volt preamp. Basic HU but sounds nice so u should be happy. If you're gonna invest in nice speakers & amps I would eventually get something that gives u more control over your sound, like something with a parametric EQ & time alignment. A parametric EQ gives u much more control over your sound, it lets u boost certain frequencies plus lets u control the bandwidth of the boost & the level of the boost. Also with your nice CDT comps the Time Alignment would really improve your imaging.Good luck with your system, sounds like your gonna be rockin' with that 15!
