Exactly. I don't need the processing features in it as my DSP6 will take care of that, however I am wondering if overall SQ would be better or if the iPod interface is better than my current HU.

Already have the iPod, and it's 160gb, bigger than anything that plugs into the USB port.

Reading different stuff online, everyone seems to have praise for the deck. The Bongiovi DPS shit seems pretty sweet. It would definitely be an upgrade from this turd I'm using now (DEH-3800MP).

Fuck it, I'll be a guinea pig.

We'll see how it sounds on the RE 6x9's and PG 6.5" RSD's I'll be installing this weekend.

I dunno. I've never used an Eclipse unit, and I personally don't like the 880PRS (800prs? wut?). The styling of the 880 and the Eclipse units really turns my interest in them off. Mind you, I know Eclipse units have great features.... I just think they're god awful looking.
