i like JLs / amps and Zapcos Ref amps and Arcs XXk amps but kinda a lot for me

i would wait for the new zapco reference digitals. they have a built in time alignment that beats the hell out of the time alignment in the 9833.

 
oh, there is also a 10 band EQ for each individual channel on the amp.

Man Zapco just beats the shit out of everything as far as your concerned huh?

There is not reason at all to rethink your original amp choice. JL / series amps are great amps and regardless of what bri487 says they do not limit output when you lower the impedance load. They have actually been tested to put out more power when you drop the impedance despite the regulated power supply. The e series amps are also very nice and I've heard that they are the same as the / series just without the regulated power supply. Arc XXK's are awesome amps but if they are not in your budget don't kill yourself to get them. I love mine to death but it took a while before I could get them. Do not change your amp decisions based off of what one fanboy says.
