Here come my first SPL project

here are some pics of the gear. no pics of the batts, they are out in the garage, but they look like batts, not real impressive. the fuses are hard to see but it is a 10 pack of 300 amp anl's, there is 10 gauge speaker wire, and the terminals and power wire is 1/0 from welding supply.

What size box you puttin' those in...there going to need a lot of air space!

and how much did you it cot for your alt?

taking the back seat out, making a wall, will have four batteries in the hatch well area, amp rack above them. i paid 260 for the alt from excessive amperage, and i am on the eastern side of N.C.

my camaro is a puny 3.4L v-6, so it is already slow and cant add much to that engine, so it is a spl project. i have had it since February and have only put 100 miles on it, since we(wife and I) have three other cars.

3.4's don't run that bad at all. My buddies Lumina with a 3.1 used to scream. If i was gona get a Camaro, I'd go for the 3.8 and a 5 spd to save gas over the V8. The 3.8 will pin you in the back of your seat if you launch right.
