GED is basically the samething as a High school diploma.
Wife got her GED and went to College for a couple years and she is a district manager for a huge company through out the world and makes a decent amount of money.

Also Blue Collar jobs used to run this country..............not so much anymore though.

No it isn't, most UNIVERSITIES, not community collegese, will laugh at a GED, without a substantial excuse for not finishing high school, like had a baby etc.

Thats good she is a DM for a company, but she will never be the CEO with a GED, and from the way you stated it no college diploma.

Maybe my goals are different than the rest of you guys, but I don't wanna be told what to do the rest of my life.

also there is no way that someone can teach you 4 years worth of high school, in a couple week GED crash course, which teaches to the test, and you only learn what is on the test and not a well rounded education.

CEO of a company? Those are huge goals. Maybe that is something you want to do and I commend you on that, but she is not trying to be a CEO. She is happy where she is and comfortable in life. Having 3 kids and 2 most of her life by herself and getting her GED and doing 3 years in college and barely making it, but staying afloat over takes a high position job IMO. Until you have kids you wouldn't understand.

To be where she is today due to what she went in life at such a young life is amazing in itself. She is more than a CEO of a company dude. She is a very hard worker and a hell of a mother and an awesome wife.

Oh and by the way, she was a top 10 DM in the nation.............yes, I said nation, which is a hell of an award.

Buck, not trying is bad news. I had mostly A's throughout all of high school. Now i'm a senior and first semester I didn't try and managed 2 C's an A and an A-. The C's were in AP Stats and Calc Concepts and could have easily been better if i had paid attention and tried. Now I might not get as much scholarship money and I was also not allowed to drive my car anywhere other than work, school and lifetime fitness (lol). it was shitty
