Help with Tahoe

I am putting 2 12's in my Tahoe, I have heard alot about Rockford HX-2. Are these all they are made out to be?

I was also curious of the amount of wattage I would need for the amp.

HX2's offer a good balance of SPL and SQ. Yes they are good, and popular subs but you're gonna pay top $$$ for them. Many people now see Rockford products as way over priced. I, myself, would buy the HX2's only if money was not too much of an issue. As for an amp, try the Rockford 800.2 or another quality amp around 800 watts total RMS.
