i would say make sure u have all the wiring from the other Hu out . it maybe trying to go through the aftermarket amp wiring still if you still have that in there or not idk if u do or not if not i would say it locked itself sometime's you actually need a cd with a code on it to reset it that happened on a buddy of mine's car.

Hmm.... i would say check all your wiring make sure nothing is left in there from the aftermarket hu. but it sound's like it has security feature on it and it locked itself .

here is what i found on my program at college idk if this will help you or not .

CIRCUIT OPERATION

Battery voltage is applied at all times for the radio clock and memory circuitry through the tail dome Fuse. If this voltage source is interrupted for any reason, the clock and memory functions need to be reset.

With the ignition switch in "ACCY" or "ON," Battery voltage is applied through the cigar radio Fuse to the radio. On vehicles equipped with a cassette player, this power feed passes through an external noise suppressor before entering the radio. When the radio "ON/VOL" control is pressed to "ON," voltage is applied through the switch to power all electronic radio functions. The radio is permanently grounded at G200.
