Help Please : Connecting two male 8-pin dins?

Hello, I'm trying to connect my cd changer(alpine 630)to my mercedes wiring .... the adapter I have connects to the mercedes wiring rectangular plug and leaves an 8-pin din male connector .... the problem is my cd changer also outputs to a 8-pin din male plug .... how do I connect these? Is there an adapter or do I have to splice in a female 8-pin din?
