check the point at which the remote leed is connected to the remote out of the head unit. use a dmm (meter) to see if the remote out is working right. if it is, there may be somthing wrong with the remote turn on section in the amp.

You need to upgrade to 0/1 gauge remote wire.

what size wire are you running power and ground?

i am useing 0 awg + - wire and 12 awg rem wire. can i use a 5 pin relay

see if you have 12V at the remote wire block on the amp when it is turned on, if so, the relay on the board might have a weak ground connection. Call directed, they normally swap stuff out, they are the warranty *****s of the business (or used to be)
