Help picking up a Sub and Amp

Hey guys. I am brand new to all this stuff. I just installed an Alpine iDA-100 head unit in my 02 Mitsubishi Diamante. I would like to get hooked up with a nice amp and sub. Nothing too crazy in price, but I want it to be quality. I listen to just about all ranges of music. Anyway, I have no idea where to start when it comes to picking out this stuff. Whats a good starter setup? Any suggestions?

lol kharps... oh those are them huh... $375 each is a pretty good deal. Not bad at all.

Get some decent 12's. one or two. two would sound great in your trunk. Get some 12" Dual Voice Coil subs and a nice 1000+w RMS amp and push em.

Whats the difference between 2 ohm and 4 ohm?

I really don't know what to look for in an amp... Could someone link me to something I'm looking for?

i have 3 pairs of type s subs in the past and sounded generally great with all type of music

if you want a pair i would recommend a alpine mrd/p 605 or pdx.600 amp

dual 2 ohm subs btw..they will sound great

best sounding budget system i've done was a mtx 5500 12 ported and a kicker zx300.1 amp from ebay. 200$ new off ebay for both.
