Help me settle an argument guys

Ok so a guy comes into the shop a couple of days ago(good customer of mine) raising hell because his system lost at a show 2 weeks ago against another car that i built. He has one Rockford power Hx2 18" i sold him over 2 years ago, i built him a box that was 10 cu. ft.......not very much longer after that i sold a guy a Memphis LVS 18" quad coil and built him almost the exact same box. The memphis won hitting 156db when the rockford was hitting 149db.......niether box was what it could have been because both wanted to be cheap and not spend the money nor give me the time it take to build a truw compitetion box. I told the guy that either way the LVS was a louder sub with much better SQ and he started trying to act like mister master installer telling me that there isnt another sub out there better than the HX2(****ing moron). So, not that im not a fan of rockford(because i am) but for any of you guys that have had experience with the LVS and building boxes for the LVS know that the sub is better for the money and the power that it puts out!

What sort of man are you that someone feels free to come into your shop raising hell at you? That's the point where you should be quoting Ezekiel 25:17 and popping a cap in his ass.

The guy was just venting. I'd just calmly explain to him why you thought he lost, and take it like a professional. How you handle situations like that is what separates business owners, in my opinion. You're totally justified in calling him an idiot, but it would have been better for business to suggest an upgrade that would be able to beat the other guy. i cant believe the lvs turd actually won a competition, that sub was a failed design from the start, thats why you hardly see any in actual installs...
