help me please asap

i have 2 kicker comp vr 12's and 1200 watt sony xplod amp and a scorche .5 farat cap an i noticed when it would hit a deep bass my light in the car would flicker so i took off the light cover and as soon as i did that the head unit stopped playing and the amp shut off. The head unit still lights up but isnt really turning on. the system has been working for like 3- 4 weeks. idk what to check.

teh fuses in the amp and teh radio fuse and the fuse under the hood are not blown . any tips would be appreciated greatly

which cover did you take off?

If your head unit is powering up but has no sound check your turn on leads and just all your connections in general.

what do you mean, exactly, that you took the light cover off?

if the amp draws alot of power, which I have no clue about a sony amp, it will make your lights flicker if your electrical system isn't beefy enough..
