Ok where to start..
I have a sony H/U http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/view.asp?ID=19266 and front and back speakers http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/view.asp?ID=19083 (13cm in front and 10cm in back)
As you can guess the bass I get out of this setup is crap, and if I try and turn it up, the bass hits cause the speakers to crap out. The mids and highs sound good it's just the bass.
I am going to get a 10" sub and amp (im no looking to spend to much) and build a sealed box myself. And idea on what power I would need (it's only a really small car, and it's for mainly rock music)
Would I be better just getting a mono amp for the sub or a 4 channel amp to run the speakers aswell (2 channels bridged for sub). I know the speakers can't handle to much power.
If I wanted to cut the lows from my spealkers would I need 4 sepearate crossovers so as not to lose fron/back left/right fade or is there a way to wire it?
If you have made it this far then thanks alot have a pat on the back
