for straight out volume, I like the HSK 165 over the germs. They seem to sound better the louder they get. Thats not to say I don't like the germs, but I just think the HSK play louder. Though if you really want midbass, I would check out the DLS UP6.

ADS are very well-balanced comps. Much better than Diamonds or CRT. Infinity Perfect are very lifelike or Kicker R65 and JL Audio have very good reviews.

And how would you compare the HSK 165 to the Infinity 680.7cs?

I wouldn't say the mille's are like jesus..... maybe his dog or his cat or something as long as you run enough power to them. I'm not a big fan of oval speakers, so already I like the HSK over the infinity. Though I used to like Infinity, I don't know if my listening tastes changed, or the speakers did, but I'm not a big fan of their tweeters either. I like a smooth soft dome tweeter, but thats personal preference. If you wanna hop on a plane ride, you can come out to my shop and demo the speakers yourself. We carry DLS, Rainbow, and Hertz. To be completely honest, I don't know that I have been able to single out which speaker I like the best. I can tell you that if I were to get any of the sets in my board as a gift I would be pleased. I would say this week I am actually leaning towards the R6A's as my favorite, but I'm on this kinda relaxed. smooth music kick right now. If I were to jump back into the rock/rap I would probably pick the HSK
