I live in florida and have a 2000 Ford Expedition With a Alpine cda-117 head unit and 1 Atomic APX 18 running on a hifonics 1600rms amp. I have recently took the head liner out and ordered FatMat. I plan on double layering the roof, But also would like to build a new box.

Does anybody have any box ideas, i have plenty of space, i plan on pointing the sub and port backwards, but im not sure on how much cubic feet i need and what size port.

do the box 6cu ft plus port...use a rear firing slot port with a 90sq inch opening...24" long...it will sound awesome.....
