Yeah I was in no way questioning your knowledge...because you unlike me have had a chance to hear this beast. I was going by things I had heard about the sub, and my personaly preferences. But I do have a question...Is this thing suposed to be REs new SPL sub, or is the MT still the SPL beast...what catagory would the new XXX fall into...SPL or SQL. just a question.

Well, SQL for sure. It sounds good while getting extremely loud.

Is it as accurate as say... a Focal K2 Power 11" in a sealed enclosure? No.

You would have to have other subs playing at a higher freq. if you tuned them that low..
and no....

its not like your chatting with some dumbass, hummmmm re launches new sub and i get 4 of them to test before ANYONE ??? O well there is 1 floating in europe

I think my opinion is very valid. trust me when I say to tune them high"er" than the norm..

Now for most everything else I tune around 30-33hz but nothing else moves this far, the low-end naturally comes out.

Dude, im not doubtin your knowledge, I was just saying I would like to hear one in a boxed tuned that low because Id prefer the SQ and the lower end extension. The reason is I personally dont listen to much music that has bass higher then 50hz. If I did, I would just get a comp set with good mids, and be done with it.

And if im not mistaking, the new XXX is built to be an SQL driver, not SPL. So im sure a LOT of people would use it as an SQL driver, like I would.

But like I say, im not doubtin you, im just simply saying my preferences. BTW, u did good on that install, it looks nice.

Hey man, talk shit if you want to. I am referring to bass. I like SQL in bass. Well, I like SQ period, but right now, wut I have for my amp and rear 6x9's are making due. I admit, they are shit. But the amp was 10 dollars, the 6x9's were a gift, so for as cheap as they were, they are doin alright until I get a new vehicle, cuz im not putting anymore money into a system for this car when I am getting a new vehicle this summer/fall.

Could always drive or fly to vegas and order direct. It would be cheaper for the drivers, but prob not enough to justify driving or flying over there
