Hello need help with kenwood dnn992

Hello my kenwood dnn992 is not restarting and has lines across the screen. Was working fine then this happened, just had it installed a week ago though it was a kenwood refurbished unit. Any ideas what could cause this

If you had a shop install it and still under warranty, I'd take it back.

I bought the head unit refurbished from amazon so can still return it, a shop here in arizona installed it, just trying to see if problem can be solved without uninstalling and reinstalling it

prob not. If you need to get a new one, they most likely will want your old one. Looks like something internal happened within the screen itself.

Man i was hoping its a bad ground or something , will be a pain for the shop to uninstall the mic and everything, at least amazon takes returns. I think ill not get another kenwood though, is alpine, pioneer or etc better?

Yeah, those brands are good. I lot of double dins nowadays have a lot of features built in.
