Hello im a nb to this with a coiple question's

With $700 - $1000 you can get up to about mid 140's on music...but unless you up your budget or do some serious tweaking to your setup I don't see you hitting a 150, at least on music.
That would be alright also I just want my music to to be heard to let you know this cutlass ain't no B****

If you've ever heard a system that does around a 145 then you know it's pretty loud. The problem with getting louder is you usually need more power, which equates to having to upgrade your electrical system which gets costly fast. Stick to 1500w and under and you'll be good. Any idea how much space you can fit in your cutlass?

Nope i have no idea i had measured it but lost the paper and my car is @ my dad's house getting body work done but i can tell you it's very limited the trunk is not that big it's the hump in there that just throws everything off o and do you think a 140 amp alternator would work with the 1500w?

Yeah for sure. I'm running my 2200 off an 80a alt..granted the gains are lowered but it gets pretty loud before I start dropping below 13v (I try to keep everything above 13v at all times)

Remedial english course should run you about 300 at your local community college. 150 in that car out the trunk for under 1k is **** near impossible. a 150 under 2k is still probably a feat in that car. Doing much over 140 will be tough from previous experiences. I suggest finding a nice used 18 here on the forums, maybe a DC level 4 18 or Fi Q 18 or the like. Something that will do well on 1500 watts and can be had for about 250. Bam 250 in your sub, grab an apsm 15001 from audio poop for about 130 bucks so bam youre up to 380 already sadface. 1/0 amp kit from Knu Konceptz is like 40 bucks so bam 420 (hehe) then you need a decent deck, pioneer makes some okay decks for about 130 bucks so were at 550 now. Box materials I would guess about 80 bucks and some tiem so 630 now. Then grab some pioneer d1720c components to put up front so them otha ghetto trash dudes youre competing with can hear yo block beata. 120 ish for those so now youre at 750 for all that. make sure to cut some foam out of the back seats and lay down some Audio Technix sound deadener when you get your next welfare check.

Captain Azzhole at your service. Wont be a 150 but it will be loud on a budget.
