LONG time lurker here. Finally decided to just join. I have been into car audio since back in 84-85 when Wayne really tore it open .....
Did some competing back in the day,(before db drag) like 90-93 ....
148 - 153db is the loudest vehicle I ever owned... not loud by today's standards i think. But loud as #$%* back then...lol.... right behind the world record holders of my day ....
I competed with Kenwood passive HU's, Kenwood or US Amps, Dr Crankenstein subs, Oz components, Audio Control EQT's and X-overs ....
Did installs for awhile, spent time building alot of custom enclosures around the philly area in the early 90's. Then life happened ...lol ....
I dabbled in it through the years, building a few nice custom enclosures and installing a few systems here and there, never gave up my Term Pro or Term Lab software... Heck, I still have an old updated XP pc I keep around just to run my Term Pro on these days ...lol ...
I have a test bench I can run amps up to about 3000w RMS on, with an Oscope and all... it's just a hobby these days really ...
I'm just an old guy that is still into loud, great sounding tunes ...
My 91 F-150 only gets about 130db ......
