Hello from Iowa

Hello new guy from Iowa here just bought a 04 chevy trailblazer and its time to start putting together a new system since I do not like the sound of the stock one so I figured Id join and get ideas for a new system here.

Well a little about myself Im not new to car audio, I just haven't been in the loop for about 10 years so im a little rusty and back then I was just concerned with being loud I was running 2 kicker comps and 2 solobarics wired at 1ohm powered by a memphis 1000 watt rms class d mono in a single cab chevy 1500 and now my taste has changed to more into the quality aspect of things but the wife still wants the nice deep bass as well anyways so far Im planning on putting a pioneer dvd head unit in with monitors on the headrest for the little one and 6.5" kicker 2 ways in the doors but im still deciding if I want to run a digital designs or a sundown audio sub and what amp to run with it hoping to get some ideas here and read up on what other members have done.
