Hi all, I'm new to the site but it looks like I have a lot in common with a lot of you. I'm in my 50s but have been installing and tinkering with my systems in each of my cars since the late 80s. I used to subscribe to Car Audio and Electronics Magazine back in the 90s. I have installed systems in a Ford Thunderbird, Olds Cutlass Supreme, Chevy Malibu, VW Passat, Nissan Maxima, and several others along the way.

Right now I am planning a system for my recently puchased 2011 Nissan Altima. I have sold all my old-school Alpine and Fosgate gear that I've been installing and uninstalling every time I change vehicles. I am looking forward to getting some equipment that isnt 20+ yrs old and getting some advice from all you when it comes to the new stuff. I am not in contact with any of my old car audio buddies so I miss having someone to bounce ideas off of, and I am hoping to get some of that here.

Thank you Anthony! That is actually how I ran it in my last car (04 Maxima), so I was hoping it would also work in the Altima. I hadnt thought about just making a new hole right next the the big rubber boot.
