Hello all, I have been tinkering with car audio since I was 16. Now I'm 29 and the wife wishes I would grow out of it. But I cant a close friend owns a shop so I have to support my Friends. I have always been more of the sound quality type. I love music to much to not be able to hear everything, and not just the bass. Dont get me wrong I also get the urge to listen to some Bass Mekanik and DJ Laz once in a while though. My current setup in the works, will go in my new HHR we bought. I am still working out details on the mids, but everything else is set in stone. I will be running a Sony cdx-gt705dx HU it has time alignment and independent 13 band eqs for each speaker. The subs are one of my two pride and joys of the system. They were prototypes the friend had built for his shop and never used. I have the only set in the world. They have a great tight sound to them, and can get loud in the right box. The other half of my pride and joys is my Soundstream D'Artagnan 5.1 amp. I am not using it to its full potential yet, a full active crossover setup is not out of the picture yet. I currently have Exile XP65 comps, but my look into swapping for Exile's Xtec comps, for a beefier midbass. Well thats enough rambling.
