Hehe... pats fans a lil butthurt?

I'm a Pats fan as well as a Giants fan, so no hate/butthurting here, but Manning will return to earth for next season. He had a good 4-game run, and even through that he had some moments of Eli-ism, where he gets a little pressure and goes Grossman on us.

People fail to remember he was statistically one of the worst QB's in the league all season long.

That right there is why i get pissed when people try to say he is a good quarterback.

Perhaps, but to say that he will never make it to the playoffs again is foolish.
I'm sure they'll get in again...they've got all the elements of a playoff team...they found some depth at RB (Jacobs, Bradshaw, and Ward), good WR's, a pretty good line, and a great defensive front.

I've watched him play his whole NFL career...and he's a good QB...he's not a top level QB. He makes FAR too many mistakes, and even though he played great during the playoffs, he got EXTREMELY lucky on a whole bunch of plays. Most QB's don't do well under pressure...we all saw Brady get pressured, and he looked 'normal'...but when Eli gets pressured...he cracks...

I must say, I saw manning mature alot in the last few games he played in. He had the bad characteristics his brother had, ie happy feet in the pocket, when they started running ahmad bradshaw ( i played little league football against him lol ) and made people respect the run they started doing well...

He is a "good" QB. Not great, but serviceable. I think in time he may be in the top 10 or so.

That is what I am thinking -- and with the NFC being the weaker of the conferences at the moment, I think the odds are that they will be in more years than not.

You know, I used to think the same thing regarding Peyton and "happy feet," then I read where the constant moving of the feet was actually coached and intentional, supposedly to help avoid knee injuries in case the QB is hit. IDK.

ah, well when he quits doing that nonsense he does better, besides he cant run anyway....

It's also so they can make a quick movement whenever they want since their feet are constantly moving...at least that's why we do it playing defense in basketball, to react quickly to someone else's movements.

whether or not manning will ever see the playoffs again really doesnt matter. he has something ALOT of great players dont have and thats a superbowl ring.

the pats got their ***** kicked plain and simple. for bellicheck to be such a coaching genius he sure didnt change his gameplan (throw it long and hope for the best) having moss run 80 yards down field and actually expect him to make a play on the ball was a joke. looked like the play calling of a really crappy madden player.
